Heard this cover/saw the video yesterday for the first time.

At first the vocals were not doing it for me - but as the song progressed, she really hit her stride.
Slash is just being Slash and is right on with the lead and voice box.
Drummer is just spot on excellent; as are the other musicians involved.
Love the vintage footage in the video as well - The Temptations, Soul Train clips - fantastic.

The more I listen to this, the more I dig it -

But I still prefer the original. Don't try to cover the Temptations. You'll lose.

I thought the singer did a good job. Some of the instrument work made me think of Ted Nugent. The Motor City has produced a lot of good music.
