My Mrs. returned from a visit to our daughter and family in VT with a case of Alchemist Brewery Focal Banger IPA 16 oz. cans. Alchemist also brews another IPA called Heady Topper that won 1st prize in the International Brewing Contest a few years back, which I prefer in colder weather, as it's a bit thicker and will keep me warm in the winter. Focal Banger is 7% ABV and Heady Topper is 8% ABV. Must drink both from the can to preserve the hop aromas and flavor. It must also be kept cold to preserve freshness. I was unable to make the trip due to sprint car racing commitments but we'll both go up again in late September or early October after racing season and I'll get another case of each to bring back. If you visit VT, the brewery and tap house are in Stowe but it can be found in most supermarkets in the region. If you get a chance, try it. It's first class micro brew!
