Former CA Sen. Barbara Boxer assaulted and robbed

I hear the police are offering a 2K reward for info leading to an arrest. I wonder if their policy is the same if your mother or grandmother was shoved from behind and items stolen (especially with all the current crimes going on there on the west coast, where she resides. I doubt that LE has the time and manpower to investigate crimes like these when there’s more serious crimes being committed in their areas).
In any case, I hope she wasn’t hurt bad and the suspects get caught.

Aaawwweee that is terrrible so sorry to hear......not!

The left wants to keep coddling criminals pretty soon they get what they get.

I'm sure the criminal can be "fixed" by a social worker and see the light of day in his new life after being socially worked..

A violent attack on anyone, regardless of their political beliefs, is unacceptable in America and why I train diligently to not become a victim. Hopefully, this attack will change the thinking of some who would support the anti 2A movement and realize that blaming the law abiding armed citizens who choose to protect themselves and their loved ones are not in any way like the lowlife criminals who commit these violent offenses.

I had to stop reading this because it was making me tear up:

Former senator Barbara Boxer was attacked and robbed in California: ‘How can you do this to a grandmother?’ (msn.com)

For you youngers that may not be aware we must never forget that these words still drive the anti-gun movement today:

CA Sen. Barbara Boxer in her own words

Obviously, no one wants to see an elderly woman - or anyone for that matter - get assaulted and their possessions stolen from them. But none of this ”defund the police” and “criminals are the victim” mentality will change until affects the politicians and those close to them. I wonder how many hundreds of “regular people” victims does this happen to, and it’s seen as no big deal. One former politician is affected and it’s headline news. Just another example of the hypocrisy…

It will not change their minds, they'll just double down and get more radical about it.

I wonder how many 80 year old grandmothers were mugged last week that no one ever heard of and no police departments ponied up reward money for information leading to an arrest. I'm certainly not cheering that the woman was mugged, but I will say I am filled with ennui. Buy a new phone and quit walking around Oakland without your security detail. Problem solved.
