Former Japanese PM Abe shot

I knew a guy through work who moved to Japan to marry a lady. He smuggled in a flintlock pistol and got caught. Last I heard after a couple years he was still in prison. Reports from his wife to the guy who was his friend was, Japanese prisons are not pleasant places.

Read also that uncle Joe in his statement said it was associated with gun violence, which there is none in Japan, it’s very, very hard to get a gun in Japan, if I remember right there is a 15 step process to get one, could be wrong, memory is getting bad…..🤔🤔
 
It’s a sad day. Typical for the Admin and MSM to immediately politicize the event here. If there isn’t any value to furthering the Left anti2A agenda, expect very little coverage going forth.

Crude weapon. Seen the sort back in the 60’s - galvanized pipe with an end cap and a nail. The assailants looks a bit more sophisticated, almost as if it was a plunger type actuation.
Reports indicate the kook had a grudge not related to political opposition. The fact he was able to get so close and from behind will have some wondering about lax in security.

Heard the same thing, in the pictures you can see the drone type batteries. I wonder they allow fireworks in Japan. That could easily be a source of powder.
