FrankenSaint - PSA 300 AAC Upper

dadoser

Master Class
On January 14th my "go to" LGS called to tell me they had a Saint Edge Pistol 10.3" in 556 coming in for me in the next 2 days (I had asked if they could get me one on May 11, 2020). Within 45 minutes, my secondary LGS had also called because I was 1st on their call list when one came in - they had it in hand. I ended up picking up both.

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with 2. A couple weeks ago, PSA had a complete upper - 300 AAC 8.5" barrel on sale for $349. For that price, I knew what I was going to do with that 2nd Edge....

1 - PSA Complete 300 AAC upper 8.5" barrel
2 - Saint Edge Pistol complete lower
3 - Nightstrike Diamondback angled foregrip
4 - Sig Romeo 5 red dot
5 - Leapers/UTG low profile aluminium flip-up sights
6 - Lancer designated 300 AAC magazines (these have a FDE base to distinguish them - i.e. so you run the 300 AAC in your correct rifle.)
7 - Magpul MOE K2+ grip FDE (to color code the pistol to 300 AAC with the Lancers.)

Using FDE to "color code" 300 AAC for me. Nothing FDE on any of my AR's in 223/556.

Sharp looking setup.

I like how the foregrip somewhat follows the contour of the magwell.
I thought it looked pretty good. Had not zeroed in on your point, but I think you are very correct - those lines really play into the aesthetics of the gun. Great observation.
