Fraud Alert: Online Scammers Targeting New Gun Buyers CCW Scheme

I still get those e-mails.
I knew it was a scam, because in Illinois there are so many hoops to jump through just to obtain a firearm let alone a conceal carry permit one would think they are joining the circus.
I get emails stating my purchase with Norton/Lifelock, Amazon went through payment is being processed on my debit card or PayPal, for one thing, I don’t have a debit card or PayPal, no Amazon account…….plus if you read the so called invoice, there is alway a typographical error in it, all I do is laugh and delete them

Those I get all the time....they get deleted.

I don’t need no stinking badges.

It's not just the bogus CCW sites, it's the bogus ammo and primer sites that will take your money. Bad hombres pop up like pimples on a teenager, so buyer be very aware.

Although not gun related and to those that do use Facebook to keep in contact with family and friends another scam has raised its ugly head in regards to the Facebook Messenger site, I have received no less then three messages from people I do not know telling me to click on a link to see the announcement of someone who has died that I also do not know. I have deleted Messenger and will never reinstall it on my phone and have posted on FB why I’ve done so.
Be safe out there my friends.
