Full Length Versus Neck Sizing

I always just neck sized my rifle cases since they were going to be fired in same gun, that’s where some don’t understand, you can neck size when you fire the round in the same gun, not any others, if you reload the same caliber in multiple rifles, then you must full length size.

I take no chance with .223 / 5.56 or .308 / 7.62mm I do a full-length size because I never want to have a broken shell in the chamber even with a shell extractor it's a bitch to remove . with a full length sizing you lessen the change for a broken shell stuck in the chamber.

I agree, in a semi auto rifle you should do a full length resize, I was referring to a bolt gun you can neck size as long as it’s for the same rifle, my bad, I should have been more specific.🙃

yep semi automatics are notoriously know for it and it's a real pain .If the spent brass has the slightest defect I can it in the 55 gallon recycle brass barrel when it's full in about 25 more years I will cash it in it has taken 25 years to get 1/2 full.😉
