I agree, in a semi auto rifle you should do a full length resize, I was referring to a bolt gun you can neck size as long as it’s for the same rifle, my bad, I should have been more specific.I take no chance with .223 / 5.56 or .308 / 7.62mm I do a full-length size because I never want to have a broken shell in the chamber even with a shell extractor it's a bitch to remove . with a full length sizing you lessen the change for a broken shell stuck in the chamber.
