Nothing much to see here other than there is a choice in barrel length. The configuration and features are what I like: no forward grip serrations, forged frame and slide and decent sights. I'd like checkered front grip, but can't expect that in a few frills gun. I like the traditional style look of the frame, no goofy cuts or design. I could justify more expensive guns if they shoot better (to a degree), but I couldn't see it just for aesthetics. YMMV

I test fired both and both are on my personal wish list. BOTH are beyond awesome just like ALL Springfield Armory firearms as I own a number of them (XD, RANGE OFFICER, SAINT, M1A, WAYPOINT, 1903A3) attesting to the "Defending Your Legacy" motto since 1794...230 years !

for me its a 1911 and thereby has a home here and both have been on my list
short barrel and long barrel

Hi,

How did I miss this article/thread? Not paying attention, I guess.

My 5" Garrison .45 is great. So much so that I'd like to add the 9mm version too.
