German sports 22lr

Another 22 LR option is Advantage arms conversion units.
Practice with your original guns trigger pull.

They make conversions for 1911 in Target, standard and commander models.
(does not work for the Springfield Range Officer),
They also offer conversions for XDs, Glocks and soon will include Hellcats and P365 models.

The 1911 conversions retail for $285.00, the Target model is $349.00.

I highly recommend them. I've about worn one out. I found a sale on another, it often collects dust.
I've put 2-300 rounds a week through the first one, it's still doing good after several years, I'm impressed.

There's no good reason to break it down for cleaning. It displasces the barrel and messes the sights up.
Just use a good, cheap spray cleaner.

I thinking about one of these for fun anybody have any experience with them. They are really reasonably priced and available in California
I was considering a Firefly a few months ago for fun in the yard/barn and asked my LGS. They had a few available, but the rep who is knowledgeable/honest mentioned that these were on the low-end of 22 as far as reliability... Too bad because they're good looking, SIG original design/frame, but apparently re more trouble than they're worth... Didn't get anything instead, just gave up on 22 altogether...

I have a friend who has the Firefly and he really likes it
That takes precedence over my comment then, first-hand experience stomps hearsay, good to know!

Note the LGS didn't try to sell me on anything else (well, except a P322 with RDS which wasn't gonna happen) and they had some in stock, so could have made a sale but preferred not to. I did get an M17 that day though, so all in all they won, but it was already planned anyway.

PS: @PAGunGuy nice GSD in the profile picture! Truly man's best friend (despite being German :D :D :D :D :D )
