Girsan Regard MC

just picked up a clone to the Beretta 92 FS. the Girsan Regard MC

surprisingly, this gun has a couple of all metal parts, where the higher dollar Beretta has plastic.

Beretta trigger....plastic, Girsan.......metal

Beretta guide rod....plastic, Girsan....steel

the Girsan has that long trigger pull in double action, much like the Beretta.

so i changed out the Hammer "D" spring, i bought from Beretta.

lessened the trigger pull.

Beretta price, about $650

Girsan price, about $450

many parts are interchangeable.

range visit maybe tomorrow, hope to put about 100 rds FMJ thru it.

i had plans on going to my club this morning and putting at least 100 rnds of S&B thru the Girsan, but we are having very high winds, and some rain. i drove by the club earlier doing some errands, and the outside of the building was dark....so that place could have lost it's power.....i'll know by 8AM when i actually get there.
