Yeah, this is virtue signaling that is compounded by the media's desire to highlight stories that are anti-gun. The dude is a liar anyway. He clearly IS anti second amendment. That's a ploy taken straight out of the Handgun Control Inc. playbook. It's the exact same thing as Joe Biden claiming to be pro 2nd amendment while advocating for banning 9MM handguns, AR-15s and enacting "Universal Background Checks".

Then why open a gun shop in 2021, you nitwit?

He could become car salesman, but what if he sells a cars and it kills someone that was intoxicated or he could work for Home Depot, but what if a customer buys a hammer and uses it like in the pelosi "assault" case??
This guy is a total idiot!!!
 
A quick perusal of his website shows not a single link to any kind of training, online or in person. This, to me, seems an interesting omission for someone who claims that is the most important thing in gun ownership. Won't go so far as to say he is not bring truthful, but it's, questionable.

To me, this seems stupid to give up your business because others target and shoot children, its not the shops fault, as long as he follows the law, this is just to grab some attention that he is doing this because of what he said, down deep, its not the true reason, but we will never know, plus I have little faith in Apple News period! Just my thoughts on this
 
He's probably holding the only gun he has in his inventory, and I suspect he runs a one man operation. If he had concerns about the charater of any customer all he had to say was "no". If any here has experience in selling firearms you know the mark up is usually about 20%, and that may vary due to supply and demand. You make your money selling ammo, accessories, and supplies that keep guns running. I doubt if he had much of an inventory in that stuff either. It's hard to deal in stuff people can buy cheaper on line. Just another guy with a dream that didn't pan out.
