Looks like the new G44 is having some serious issues...
Man, that should happen. Good luck with Glock Annihilator, I'm sure they'll get you a resolution. Have you heard of other similar incidents out there in internet land?
Not mine sir, found this on the web today, my brother has one, so far he has no issues, just finicky on ammo.Man, that should happen. Good luck with Glock Annihilator, I'm sure they'll get you a resolution. Have you heard of other similar incidents out there in internet land?

Glock 44 Problems
Some rumblings going around that the new .22 LR Glock 44 isn’t doing too well. And here is another one that had an oopsie. Another. And Another.. And another.. I think I would wait a while be…looserounds.com
OK, glad it wasn't yours.I sent him these links, just in case, he can look at his for any of these signs.
Yea, that’s what usually happens when manufacturers rush out a product without a reasonable test time to find any issues, instead, we are the guinea pigs.....Not quite Glock Perfection....
I posted this from Shot Show 2020. 30 seconds in for 6 minutes, Classic Firearms talks with Glock about the G44. Among other details, the slide is a composite of poly & steel.I’m thinking the slide is cast, not bar stock like centerfire glocks, also, I think Glock should have made it a blow back design instead of recoil operated.
Yea, but I’m still thinking the metal part of the slide is cast or in worse case, zinc......I posted this from Shot Show 2020. 30 seconds in for 6 minutes, Classic Firearms talks with Glock about the G44. Among other details, the slide is a composite of poly & steel.
Could be, but whatever happen, it seemed to have cracked the poly slide portion in the picture posted above. That doesn't look good at all, but as mentioned, It's what happens when things are rushed into the market.Yea, but I’m still thinking the metal part of the slide is cast or in worse case, zinc......
Yeah, I made that mistake on the 4 Sig P320's & 2 Ruger Mark IV pistols I bought. Had to have them right when they came out, and issues arose. Fortunately (so far), the P365 I bought was the "gen" 3 that had the trigger spring & extractor issues addressed, so no problems there. I'll wait on the new Colt Python to see if there's an issue and fix for the Cylinder locking up apparent concern.Thats why I try to wait till a new gun is out for awhile before I jump into getting it.
Frankly I don't like the way Glocks feel in my hand. Now that there are reliability concerns I feel even better not having a single Glock.
I was with a friend back in the day that bought an original python. At the time it was $250 new in the box. That thing was like a silk glove in my hand. He ended up selling before he realized what he had. I still think about shooting it.I’m still putting back for the python........
