Glock now has the G17 Long slide version in the Gen5 series, almost like my G34, but will definitely look into one.
Does that mean it’s Stealth or no Stealth being Gen 5+ ?
nah...looks like it was fed Viagra on the assembly line, and only has 4 hours to perform.Glock now has the G17 Long slide version in the Gen5 series, almost like my G34, but will definitely look into one.

I was going to not say anything and let the time expire to edit so it would be stuckJust caught the typo in the title……….Glong…..
Funny thing is, I didn’t make the typo, it’s on the actual articleI was going to not say anything and let the time expire to edit so it would be stuck
Darn !
Or maybe a western porn star, Glong, gun long
While it’s a niche market I remember when I shot PPc matches in the 90’s there were several that ran Glock 17L’s and did quite well with them. They were tricked out with Bomar type rear sights I know the rage is Red Dots but there’s still folks that like to run irons and the only thing Glock is out is they are making a longer slide the frame is the same as a 17/34 so why not.I love my Glocks but do not understand the need or market for the 17L.
From my understanding it’s not accepted in USPSA. If you’re into the long slide and possible competition why not just buy a 34?
I’m not sure what was approved then, just going off what I have read and was told when tinkering with getting involved with a friend that competes. While it’s a niche market I remember when I shot PPc matches in the 90’s there were several that ran Glock 17L’s and did quite well with them. Funny the people that get upset the most are the ones that wouldn’t buy whatever they are criticizing.
Like dudes are all kinds of mad at Colt for re introducing the 38 asuoer Combat Commander when they wouldn’t even have a 1911 like who cares there are folks that like a good 1911 and Springfield and Colt are pretty good at it
I never referred to USPSA. I was talking PPC matches. This was local level we shot within a tri satte area so not sure about the stringent if NRA POC rules. I was a young Airman and on my Squdrin Oistil team and shot my issues Midel 15 Revolver.I’m not sure what was approved then, just going off what I have read and was told when tinkering with getting involved with a friend that competes.
