Glock to discontinue several models

Well apparently Glock is discontinued several models. It appears to be most Gen 4’s and all calibers of 45 GAP, and 357 Sig

Here’s a couple links but I’d say the Glock announcement on their page confirms it

I’d at an announcement might be forthcoming at the Atlanta NRAAM

Wow, that’s a lot of pistols

I think you’ll find that most of these models have been “discontinued” for quite some time already…as in, they hadn’t been produced for years.

This is just making it official.
They made all of them until recently.
The difference is they restricted almost every Gen 4 version to LE agency only. They kept the Gen 3 for the California unconstitutional roster.

The only Gem 4’s available for general public was the model 34, the 45 Gap models and 357 Ig and 40 models.

Then they released a Gen 5 40 cal (22 and 23) and 45 cal Model 21 and 30 and 10mm 21/30 were Gen 4 or 5.

10mm is in 20 and 40 (full size) with the 21 and 41 full size 45acp's. i guess more reasons too keep all of my gen4's!

If you’re a Gen 4 fan I wouldn’t worry too much about much. Look at how many police trade ins are floating around as well as parts and other stuff.

I mean there were like just north of 6 million S&W model 10’s and pre model 10’s made and you can’t swing a dead cat without finding guns or parts there!

i haven't decided to sell/trade all (gen4's of 17, 31, 22, 20, 40, 21, & 41) along with the complete aftermarket parts? that's 7 factory barrels along with (haven't counted them) about 12-14 barrels, springs, sights and small part replacements.

big reasons i don't buy any more glock's.................seen 1, seen them all........................and not enough to make me buy another!
As someone that’s a Glock Armorer and former agency guy I’d say the Gen 5 is probably the best Glock as it simplifies any agency armorer involvement so I can see agencies wanting them

I have 2 Glocks both Gen 5’s a 34 and a 45. The only other one I might get is a new COA 45 or 47 just for red dot classes I might go to or teach.

As far as shootjng and duty I like S&W M&Ps Sig 220 series and 1911 or wheelguns
