Yup. That’s my state. However, polymer tipped bullets are not considered hollow points in the eyes of the state police and are legal to carry. So people who do carry use them, myself included.
NJ laws are nonsensical. Prime example is a flash hider on an AR rifle is illegal but perfectly legal on an “other”. Adjustable stock on a AR is illegal. Adjustable brace on an “other” is perfectly fine. Even my wife, who is not a “gun person”,says that doesn’t make sense.
