Connery, as Raisuli, sought to defend sovereignty of his country from European countries' corrupting influences that arose from the Industrial Revolution. Much of the film is historically accurate, especially foretelling WWI. I could easily discern our Founding Fathers in Connery's role as Raisuli.

I always wanted to see him reprise the role of Indiana Jones's father. I thought he was great in that role and really like that installment of the series. He was excellent in the Rock, Capone, and many many other movies. He will most definitely be missed. RIP Sir Knight 🛡⚔

Once you saw him as "Bond, James Bond", there was never another who could quite make the grade. Several others were pretty good at it, but Sean was the real thing. Always will be!
