It's pretty cool that all you gotta do to become a member is staple the target below the line.I picked up a Level 2 XSR holster from G-Code for my 4in Walther PDP Compact and got to the range with it today. I’ve been dry fire training with it to get used to the thumb tab that releases the canopy over the back of the gun and decided to try it for real.

Things went pretty smoothly and while I wasn’t really going hard for speed, one can’t help oneself, and kind of did any way and got pretty good results. The interesting part was that I also took along one of my VP9s which fits the holster well enough to do a comparison. Both guns are kitted out with a Holosun SCS and I was running 124gr NATO.
In the picture below the top two targets were the PDP (25 rds per target) and the bottom was the VP9 (50rd). The results were fairly similar but the interesting thing was that as smitten as I currently am with the PDPs (I also have a 5in Compact) the VP9 feels like it was custom made for my hands. No matter how good the PDP shoots with the Walther Dynamic Trigger installed the VP9 feels better in every way possible. It fits my hand gloriously, points naturally, has a $30 spring job that is better than the $200 aftermarket Walther trigger and is very forgiving. And for a gun that people complain is snappy, I find it easy to control recoil and shoot rapid fire accurately. So, while I will certainly continue my journey, it would appear that for me, the VP9 is the One Gun.
That does not mean any great deals will be had for any other members of my stable! Lookin’ at you @Bassbob….
BTW, please don’t tell either on my Archon Type Bs about this article.

I'm surprised you shot so well with the dreaded SCS. I figured those things were sitting in a drawer by now.
