Got On the Water Yesterday

The 13 yr old grandson and I got on the local lake for a couple of hours later yesterday afternoon. Temp was around 70º, and just a slight breeze. Haven't had the kayaks out since last August, so it was definitely nice to be out of the house and getting some fresh air, and exercise in. I skunked, and my grandson caught just a small 6" Bass. Still a good "excursion", and break from the day-to-day current monotony.

What a beautiful way to spend a day with your grandson! That looks perfect.

That's awesome. Good for you. I an still waiting for the weather to improve here. It's been in the 45 to 50 degree range, windy and rainy. I bet if felt great to get back on the water.

Sounds like our recent weather. Yesterday was really nice, and today is somewhat warm also, but with 20mph wind gusts. Probably whirecaps on the local lake right now, lol. Hope you're able to get on the water soon. 👍
