Got to the Range

Finally got to the range this morning. Between the heat, humidity, and thunder showers for the last 2 weeks it was great to go. Fired the 40 Shield and the Hellcat! Wanted to fire the Shield as I will be probably carrying it once the weather gets cooler this winter. I have found that it is the right caliber and weight for me. Of course the Hellcat was perfect and has never let me down, always reliable. It was great to go and already planning the next trip.

Never really noticed a significant difference with the "snappiness" of 40 over 9 because of the heavier guns I was using in 40. You mentioned 40 Shield. Felt the difference when shooting mine next to my 9 Shield. Finally an apples to apples comparison with size of firearm. Like them both.
