Does it bug anybody else that our glorious leader and his minions talk about the whole “drones” thing the way they do? “We don’t know what they are or who’s operating them, but don’t worry they pose no danger or security risk”. Really? If you admit you dunno What they are OR who’s operating them how can you possibly say they pose no risk or security threat? I saw a decent size (6-7 foot diameter) drone at an Ag show last year-it was designed to be a crop duster with like a 25 kg payload. Unless you’re terribly naive youd have a hard time not believing that something similar operated by a foreign OR domestic nogoodnik couldn’t be weaponized to spray a chemical or biological agent? Either (1) the Federales know what’s going on but don’t want the peons to know or (2) they actually are as incompetent as we feared the are. I’ll sure be glad to see the third week of January get here….
 
Agreed... after seeing all those drone combat clips in Ukraine... we really should be taking this stuff more serious.

And I hope our own military is really working on some new anti-drone combat tech. Because these drones can turn the tide in battle if used right. I bet Russian and China are. jmo
 
The latest theory is that the drones are ours and they're searching for something that .gov doesn't want the general public knowing about. Possibly terrorist related, maybe even radioactive. The secrecy is to prevent fear and panic.
IDK if this is true, but it is the most plausible explanation yet.
There have also been rumors that an old Soviet nuke has been located in Ukraine and is now in the hands of terrorist who plan to smuggle it into the U.S. Again, these are just rumors. But it does explain the secrecy.

Relative to smuggling in found soviet weapons, I would think they would have better targets than NJ (and yes, I know that’s expanded a bit). Lots of civilian population (maybe?, I’ve never been), but certainly lots of bigger populations elsewhere. And certainly other tactical targets. Not hard at all to believe the US government is hiding something from their populace. They’ve been doing a pretty good job of it since 1947 and probably long before that - see flu pandemic of 1918.

I think NJ would make a prime target. You get a large body count for the shock and fear effect, but without doing massive damage to the business infrastructure like hitting a major city would. Terrorist may hate us and want us dead, but they aren't stupid. Everything in this world comes down to money. Even terrorist understand that you want to keep that money flowing.
 
This whole current administration is a total joke, we all know it, sadly the world knows it also, all this jibber jabber from so called officials is pathetic, something needs to be done instead of just telling us the lies, even if something happens this administration is to weak to do anything

WWII pilots flying at night experienced similar sightings over Europe. They called them foo fighters. Just like now, the gov’t couldn’t explain what they were are where they came from.
