I just got a notice today from Silencer Shop and The American Suppressor Association that the ATF if moving the form 4 process to an efile system that should greatly reduce the wait times for form 4 transfers.

I just purchased a Rugged Obsidian 9 last week from Silencer Shop and I don't think they submitted the paperwork to the ATF yet so hopefully I'll get it filed the the new e-file system and have it a lot sooner.

Even if you've bought one recently, The email said to reach out to them. I wonder if they are going to re-file it.

Edit: Read in the article not to re-file it and leave as is. RIP.

Fortunately I got this email from Silencer Shop and when I logged into my account the status of my order hasn't changed yet so hopefully they were holding onto my order expecting this news.
