Carbon6 just called and said they're shipping my 300wm (30") barrel out today ! 183 days from day of ordered. Hopefully by the end of the week! McGowen barrel, so had to wait for them on their part before C6 could do their part. Purposed for 215-250gr bullets from hopefully achieving 3,000-3,400 fps with ad accurate as I can get them. I've been saving primers for testing (cci250). It will be at least October before I have any time?

Will do! This barrel comes with the nut and recoil lug. I still need the recoil lug for another barrel that came in May?

I'll use a temp stock until I figure out what one is going too be used for this build. I'm hoping for a complete weight of less than 8lbs (scope, rings, mag, barrel, receiver, bolt and stock). Hopefully loaded mag in the weight? I was able too save 2.5lbs going with cf at bull barrel comparison weight. I'll do all of my usual inspections and cleaning before installment (borescope, threads, chamber, throat and push a cork through the barrel after cleaning). The cork will find any undetected sharp edges other than rifling. It also will clean the bore of any debris and leaves it silky smooth. It's a good polisher!

I'm hopeing for a mile plus, but that will be next year before I have that kind of time. I do have lots of range.

It came in today. Did quick inspection before temp assembly for photo shoot. Used the stealth stock, but will get removed. Will keep you updated!
