The P9’s? Tanfoglio made them, I had one...
I just picked up a P9 in .45. Very nice and clearly a Tanfo (I've had a few). I know they were made between 1990-93 but is there any source on the number made, serials, etc? I wrote to SA but haven't heard back and apparently my google fu is not strong enough. Any help would be appreciated.

SA never imported CZ75's as per HGs post. The P9's were near-clones.
To my knowledge the P9s were all Tanfoglios, which are CZ75 based. SA imported and labeled them 1990-93 until EAA then became the importer and SA stopped. EAA remained the importer for quite a long time with the Witness, Witness Elite, Limited Pro, etc. - a lot of USPSA winning pistols. Now they're imported by IFG. Please feel free to correct any of this if I'm wrong.
