Gun Shop Seizes Customers Polymer 80

Hmm. The gun store guy told the kid, AFTER he confiscated his gun, that he would be calling the ATF. In the gun store owner's statement to Ammoland he claims he contacted the ATF and was told to confiscate the gun until further directed.

So which of those statements is true ?

And WTF is wrong with this country when a current member of the military is unable to buy a GD gun ?
 
my question is why did the young man allow mr store owner to take his property? the store is not a law enforcement agency
store owner should have notified law enforcement if he was so worried. DUE PROCESS is a right not an option
but being its in ABQ...i rest my case

i would have refused to give the owner anything but a good bye as walked out the door

Im sure plenty of LGS’s see stuff come in that’s totally illegal and simply ask that the item be removed from the premise. We’re in a whole different era these past 2-1/2 yrs.
On its face, once that LGS took possession when there’s no obligation to do so, it opened them up lawsuits.

LGS will claim it acted in good faith based on the current NWO-AFT, unfortunately I think the plaintiff has no case, pro-bono will try to to get something going but this might just be one of those that gets put to the wayside.

NWO-ATF was probably a regular at that LGS or were they that shaky for good reason?
Take note - These days you will never know when you’re going to be set up.

I hope this error in judgment doesn’t impede the kids chance to get a 100% new in the box something later on rather than work for years paying his legal expenses.

Well at least one attorney obviously says a good case for theft can be made.
 
You can't trust anybody nowadays, and you gotta watch what you put on social media. I can personally name 10 people who got investigated or arrested over a post. One young lady posted against the current president on fedbook. She worked in health care, one of the big letter agencies sent 6 people in suits to her job. They quietly took over, interviewed her in a private room. They left without charging her. She left early scared and crying her eyes out. I'm pretty sure she deleted her social media accounts. For the ones that don't believe me, I had a family member working there at the time and witnessed it.
 
I know in most states you do have to be 21 to own a handgun, Ohio is like this, but also he was in the military so he had access to one and trained with one, I have bought holsters from my shop and didn’t have to have my gun, usually they just use one from counter, a polymer 80 is nothing but a Glock clone, be it G17 or G19, depends on the model, so any Glock would have sufficed. This whole situation smells bad, what gives the shop the right to confiscate his gun and then call ATF, his gun might not have a serial number and was built using a kit, but until they make it illegal, this guy in my mind did nothing wrong, just my opinion.
