Agree. Considering it was issued to WW2 troops in the Pacific and to our troops in Vietnam.

Yeah. Gun writers know better than combat vets don’t ya know.

He said, you fire that thing at a, won't use his term, Japanese soldier running at you with a bayonet thru thick foliage, and chances are a few pellets, if not the almost a whole load will make it through and take him down. A rifle chances are about even you hit a limb which could be bad since they hid until you practically stepped on them.

A shotgun is one of the most versatile weapons that exist. Used in the trenches of world war one, jungles of Korea, nam, Philippines (I believe). Most engagements aren't anywhere near 100 yards in jungle warfare as I understand it... Yeah it certainly does have a place in the jungle
