But I don't think the "Saint" is a piston system (both HK & M7/MXCX) with interchangeable barrels/calibers (MCX/M7)?

I think he meant the shooting part only. Barrett gives you all that in bigger caliber loadings

I’m referring to .308 vs .308
My Saint will perform out to distances as the other 2 for a fraction of the cost. Their DOD markup prices to civilians is Fing stupid
