I feel your sorrow, and have had to take many furry family members on that long ride. Soon, remorse will give way to all the joyous memories of your time together. Take care. . .
My condolences Belt, my wife and I were married for 24 years and never had less than 7 dogs at any given time.
I can’t remember how many I took to the vet to be put down due to age or sickness, she took care of them when they were healthy but couldn’t take them to say goodbye.
I feel for you and your sadness, take care and know she no longer has any pain.
Very sorry to hear this, I know it’s a rough time, we had to do the same to our first cat years ago, still hurts when we look at her pictures. It’s different when they pass naturally, but when you have to put them asleep, it’s very difficult
Deepest condolences. It’s a tough decision to make. We put one of ours down 2 years ago. She lived almost 15 years but she was getting to the point she couldn’t hold herself up when going to “potty”. I hated doing it but she was in Too much pain. I still have her picture as my screen saver to this day.
Hang in there.
We have lost 8 dogs, one cat in a little over 20 years. All of them were cremated and we have their ashes in urns. Hope I don't sound to nutty. All of their losses were heartbreakers.
