A lot of you might be traveling today for the holiday. I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Be safe and enjoy your loved ones. See you when you get back. We will be spending it here in New Mexico and the weather is supposed to be picture perfect with highs in the upper 50's!

No turkey for me, I'll find another bird! Back in '15 (my oldest son's senior year) we had a rescheduled football playoff game on Thanksgiving Day (185 mile drive, 1 way). The day started out good weather wise, but by halftime it was a monsoon and temp dropped 30*. By the 4th quarter it was lightening very close. Game got called with 5 minutes left. BTW we won, but was soaked. Drove to wally world to get towels to dry off. Fast food turkey day!

Aside from the food, drink and that "special uncle" I hope that we can all find something that we are thankful for. I take a lot of things for granted when, really, I should be mindful of the bounty that the Good Lord has put at my feet.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow gun-toting friends here. Enjoy the day with family and friends. At my house we ALWAYS say a PRAYER and THANKS to all the First Responders and all the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines who are out there Protecting US meanwhile they're away from their loved ones. So if anyone out "here" has Family or Friends Serving US Tell them ALL THANKS for ALL they do. And also a HUGE THANK YOU to all our VETERANS here who without we wouldn't be able to ENJOY this day....
