Another read on the new Colt Python, good read.

CZ already makes revolvers through their Dan Wesson line.

IMO CZ will add some stability and proper management to the Colt line if this goes through.

If so they (CZ/Colt) will still sell every Colt "Snake" model they make.

Coincidentally just today, I received from my yard son in ND, a brand spanking new (2019) Python. Stainless, 4 1/2" bbl, in the box w/all paper work, and never been fired. He has long known of my 1982 Python, also in the box with all papers (including the original sales receipt of just over $400 o_Oo_Oo_O) and never fired, so he thought it would make for a nice pair. It does, they're like a 'Mutt n Jeff' set, or maybe a 'Pete n Repeat' set. But they really are purrty!

The boxes are different in that the older one came in a paper (light paper board) box, the new one comes in a plastic box. The only difference between the two, other than the actual design differences in the guns is the grips. The old one has the Pachmeyer/Colt presentation grips, the new one has the Colt/Walnut polished grips. Either one is fine with me.

I'd love to share a picture of the two together with all y'all, but unfortunately don't know how. Maybe one day I'll learn. Till then they'll likely just stay on the shelf in the safe and occasionally I'll take them out to look at.

Can't tell you how much I appreciate that offer there guy, but it's become obvious you ain't got even a 'lick a sense' now have ya? ;):):):D:D:rolleyes:

Or rather, if I sent them off somewhere it would be pretty obvious I'm the one without a 'lick a sense' .... huh? ;);)

But again, I really do appreciate the offer. ;););););)

Well, I'm giving this a try only because I'd like for y'all to see the two of them. If it works and I got the pictures attached to this post, it's total thanks to Anni for his help and great instruction in teaching me how to do it. If it doesn't work, then it'll be his fault for the poor instruction he left me with!!!!! LOL! LOL!;):D:D:D

Y'all take note of the cost of the 1982 version on that sales receipt. That was from 8/19/82 IIRC. Probably can't get one for that cheap today, huh? I don't have the receipt for the new one since he bought it for me as a gift. He;ll eventually get both guns when the time comes, so then he'll add the sales receipt to the collection.
