Most of my storage space is not climate controlled . I have lots of reloading equipment , old steel scopes, mounts, two compound bows and other smalls that my father owned. I’d like to get some of those items my father used out of my closet and keep them protected.
Bummer, thanksYou don’t want those, then. The rifle rests/holders are molded in, and removing them really isn’t an option if you want to keep the climate control feature.
I’m gonna go with no. I’d say the only ( affordable) way to protect buried firearms is disassembly and slathered with cosmoline or some such and placed in an airtight apparatus.You think it would protect your firearms and keep them dry if it was buried, let's say, 4 feet underground? Inquiring minds want to know!
