And I was amused that they mentioned the SP89 (Precursor of the SP5) was available in Europe, but not the US...

It was, briefly. Only about 15,000 units came in before they were banned, by name, by the first Bush administration.

Great video and article. It was interesting to learn that H&K started out with bicycles and sewing machine parts.
OF Mossberg opened its doors also making bicycles and baby carriages.
