I prefer metal guide rods in my firearms and would like to replace the plastic rod in my hellcat. Does anybody have a recommendation? I'm thinking about galloway precision with the 16lb spring to match stock. Thank you!
I know how you feel, I don't care for plastic rods either. The metal rods make the slide work easier. i recently bought an FN 502 and it came with a plastic rod. i bought the apex rod to put in it. slide is a lot smoother.
My Walther Q5 Match has a plastic guide rod. I have always wanted to replace it, but never have. It works just fine. If I shot the gun more I would probably put a titanium rod assembly in it. As it is I would rather spend that $140 on ammo.
