Thanks for that I thought looking them both the pro has more grip roomHellcats are notoriously Poppy, the Pro is a bit better than the OSP or other smaller models. I really do like Hellcats and one OSP is a franken gun I use to test aftermarket stuff... But, they do be snappy! The Pro feels great in my hand, I like the Ergos.
Yes sir, the Pro feels right. When you are doing your drills, the Pro naturally seems to fit, where sometimes I feel like I have to go looking for the OSP to a degree. Thanks for that I thought looking them both the pro has more grip room
Thanks for that detailed answer. I am leaning towards the proI have the micro, and have found several issues (for me)...
First, the grip diameter is small enough that my trigger finger sticks out well onto the other side, such that it touches my support hand index finger.
Second, I had one occasion (and it only took once), where I did a quick reload, and pinched the inside of my pinky finger in between the grip and the extended mag. The mag also locked in place. Very painful, and hard to release the mag and remove. I now, reload with my pinky extended.
Third, and my mistake, I got the SwampFox optic, but with the auto brightness. I find that in low light, it is not bright enough to see well, and in very bright light, I have a hard time seeing the dot.
Lastly, as others have said, it is pretty snappy.
I added a Hogue grip and that helped some with the trigger finger sticking through, and makes it less likely to pinch my pinky. However, I'm seriously considering a larger frame, like the Pro, or maybe a 365 xmacro. Need to get them in my hands and see how they feel, first.
Yeah, that was another thing with the grip... sometimes I would grab it and it would align correctly, and sometimes it would be a little to the left or right. The Hogue grip helped me get a consistent grip as well.I went with the pro due to the micro small grip size. Still added a Hogue grip to the pro which made it much more comfortable to shoot as it filled out the flat grip that was uncomfortable in my hand.
