Hellcat Pro slide closes with inserting mag

I have a new Hellcat Pro that the slide closes when inserting a loaded mag. Does not happen with empty mag. I tried several mags and they all cause the problem. Anyone else see this? I guess I need to call to return it.

why would you return it for that?
slamming home a loaded mag will have more weight / inertia than an empty and can often cause the slide to run forward.
we jokingly refer to this as a birthday bounce.
it's not a bad thing.
many of my pistols, in fact my Echelon and Mod 2 both do it rather frequently when doing emergency reloads.

keep in mind the firing pin isn't going anywhere so there's no danger of a round going off.
