I have a Hellcat OSP. I do not use the optical sight. I do want a rear sight that I can see at night just like I can see the front dot sight. I am having trouble finding a rear sight that fits this gun. First what are the dimensions of the right sight dovetail. Second is there any reason that I could not have the removable top frame piece cut to accept a rear tritium sight?

There are others on the forum more knowledgeable on the subject than I am but I believe the OSP has a "special" rear dovetail that nobody else makes a sight to fit.
Before you go through a lot of trouble trying to fit something custom to the pistol you might want to do what I did and paint the rear notch. I used Glow-On paint to cover only the white U on the rear sight and covered that with a couple coats of clear nail polish to help protect the paint. It's not perfect but it works.
