I purchased a Hellcat last year and it came with a red front sight, and it is not a night sight. All the Hellcats I've seen, read reviews about etc., came with a green night sight for the front sight. I can't find any reference to the red sight being an option, etc. I haven't talked to the dealer yet but would welcome any comments before I ask the dealer about the red front sight.

Thought it did, but didn’t want to say that if it wasn’t right, thanks Okie.
I believe they are all discontinued now but there’s plenty of fiber models still out in dealer inventories.
On Hellcats in general, some came with factory installed fiber optic sights, (Green, Red?) while some came with tritium (night sights.) Had choice of either when seen first time. Were same price at place seen. Good attributes to either, depends on intended purpose when making choice if offered one?

My Hellcat came with the tritium night sight. Hellcat uses the same front sight as the XD's. Mine is almost identical to the yellow XS front sights. If you have the OSP Hellcat, the rear sights will not fit. Also recommend xdman, one of our moderators, and sight expert on the forum.
