Hellion 20 inch variant

USMC6094

Custom
Took a week to get here, but finally arrived this afternoon.

First impression is that of exceptional fit and finish. No detectable blemishes in the finish or external parts.

Flip up sights seem very strong.

The manual of arms is totally different from the AR/M16, only the safety lever is in the "usual" place.

The trigger is different, to say the least. Initial take up is nearly a half inch before you hit the first stage, which is comparatively heavy, but not too bad, second stage is rather light.

I've tried nearly every type of magazine I have with no issues.

Only disappointment was the M16 bayonet doesn't fit the lug, so if I go with a pig sticker, it's gotta be the HS-PRODUKT made variant. Which is, to say the least, NOT inexpensive.

As Optics go, I decided to mount my homeless WPO 1-4 PSU as it's go to optic.

Why would a M16 bayonet work? It’s not a US made rifle, or for US military use…

Because it's bayonet, the aforementioned HS-PRODUKT blade is billed as fitting a host of NATO rifles, to include the M4. So, deductive reasoning leans to the conclusion that other blades used by NATO allies would also fit this rifle.
Should I post pictures of it for you?

Considering the the 24 ounce weight of the PSU, the thing doesn't feel @$$ heavy at all. It balances at the pistol grip and one handed operation is relatively easy.
This little girl is going to be fun.

Been tinkering with it, on and off as time allows, my only real gripe is that you cannot lock the bolt open without having a magazine in the mag well.
