HELP WANT SPRINGFIELD SAINT FIXED MAG LIVE IN CA

Hey guys I'm going to buy my first ar and I really want one of the Springfield Saint rifles but i don't want to have to buy a featureless rifle, i want a fixed mag so i can install the kingpin maglock, best choice for me living in California. The problem is idk if Springfield even offers a fixed mag version of their ar over a featureless version. Anybody have some advice or know if they offer a fixed mag? My price range is $800/$1200 possible a bit more.

Thanks boys

Firearm companies including SA will list state compliant firearms state based compliant according to state regulations.
I found what I was looking for somewhat, not asking for any legal advice but I was under the impression that fixed mags in California didn't need the pistol grip fin? Are grips easy enough to replace?

Just got the Saint Edge in a CA configuration. However, be aware that the Kingpin and other similar quick pin options will not work with the Saint Edge. The detent pin on for the rear takedown pin on the Edge comes in from the pistol grip (like the safety detent) and not from the rear of the receiver like most lowers. Kingpin and other similar devices have a cutout in the takedown pin and this orientation is fixed by the detent pin, so on the Edge the Kingpin is oriented 90 degrees out the position where it will allow a push-button separation of the upper and lower receiver. Making the Kingpin and other similar options useless on the Saint Edge.

Also the AR Maglock gen 2 will not release the mag unless the BCG is forward. With LRBHO the the upper and lower do not separate enough for the Maglock to fit between the receivers. Per Maglock this will improve after 500-1000 rounds. Right now after the last round I have to hit the bolt release. Push the rear takedown pin in until I can pivot the upper. Change out my magazine and then close the upper and push in the rear takedown pin. Then rack a round into the chamber. Obviously, not a quick mag change!

I purchased mine in CA. Some retailers will order them and fit the fixed mag solution, before the DROS process so you are buying a compliant rifle. Others I have seen reconfigure it as featureless. Be careful with the Saint Edge, which has a billet lower and the detent pin is from the pistol grip. Not sure about the other Saints.

The Sportsman's Warehouse chain sells featureless Saints and Saint Victors only, from what I have observed.

The Saint Edge could be sold here in the featureless version but looks like they holding off on that.

Yes, with fixed magazines, you can have the flash hider, telescoping stock and pistol grip.

The grips are easy to replace as you just got to unscrew it basically.

I thought about getting the Ruger AR-556 but looks like by accident, I lucked out on buying the Saint Victor since everything else cheaper was sold out at the time.

I have to say that I don't regret getting these featureless version as at least its closer to operation of a normal AR.
