The JXP 10mm is heavy, it is blowback operated, it is simple and reliable. It is ugly, didn't buy it for looks. The trigger is heavy, a negligent discharge is not near as likely, it will not fire without the mag and be chambered. It is not what I would call a woman's gun. The slide pull is heavy. It is field worthy, rust is not going to be a problem. And to fire it accurately, you will have to master it, just like you master your MILSERP, or 12 gauge or cap 'n' ball. It's heavy, OK, grow stronger. Load the ten round mag, chamber one, drop the mag, replace that round, put the mag in, now, 11 rounds are available, my Glock 10 mm holds 15. 4 rounds different, if you are quick to reload with your mags, it really isn't a tactical disadvantage. It is accurate. It offers 10mm ballistics in a cost effective package. It is not all bad with this weapon, in fact, most of it is good. And don't forget the lifetime warranty, who offers that nowadays, further, they really do back it up. Want a cheap, challenging, tough and reliable 10mm with good product support? Get a Hi-Point.
