Holster options, 5" railed Operator.

Black army

Operator
Hello fellow SA Buffs.
I'm looking for a hi ride holster for my railed Operator.
Been drooling over Hi-Noon holsters, and have saved one or two in my wish list, but I'm open to other options.

LEFT handed.
OWB.
No thumb break.
Prefer leather, but kydex is always another option. [JMCK]
Doesn't have to be top tier, as I've owned plenty of mid tier that worked perfect.

Ideas are appreciated.

Christopher.

Having the same problem with the Operator. You might check out Craft Quick Draw holster that works and only 99 bucks.

After searching, I just went ahead and custom ordered a Hi-Noon owb for the operator.
I'm still looking for a neutral cant leather holster. Have 2 commander length 1911's with aluminum frames in Galco Avenger holsters. Gonna hit the range Wed to zero the dot on the 1911AOS 45acp and shoot three striker fired 9mm's.
I found a full leather OWB for my Emissary AOS 4.25 full rail at mtrcustomleather.com. Fit was perfect, no break in necessary. Leather w/bison trim.

Good looking holster.
.

I have a Safariland 6378 ALS however that probably doesn’t fit your bill as it has the thumb button not a strap and nothing to do when you reholster.

That said I also like the leather Avenger from Galco it is an excellent carry holder and I personally like the straight 0 can’t

Called Galco told railed 5" 1911's won't fit in the Avenger holster. Use this holster for two commander length 1911's good looking & very functional.

It looks like this is cut for a rail so not sure I’d call again and get a 2nd answer. Not sure why they wouldn’t make a rail version when they run them for Sigs and everything else.

The other option is a Yaqui Slide holster I ran one of those for a Sig 220 and while minimalist was a very good holster

Have the Galco Yaqui slide. You're right doesn't hurt to call again. Galco sells the Avenger for $172.00, Midway has them for $130.00.

I run an Avenger for a Sig 226 Legion and I think I paid somewhere just under 115 but that was around 2019 before the crazy stuff started don’t even remember where I got it might have been Midway

Good luck

Although not near as nice your holster did find holsters from Mernickle Holster. Neutral cant for railed SA pistols and only 110 bucks.
