Holsters and why you choose that 1!

I know you get what works best for you, but how did you know too begin with? OWB is what I'm looking for and have a few in the variety collum, but still looking for advice/suggestions/knowledge/pics. I'm looking at crossbreed being on sale at this time. Even though the m&p mod2 10mm compact isn't listed it does fit in a 9mm m&p mod1 full size with an optic (both have optics). 1971 gunleather have been nice holsters, but possible limited on choice with optics.

I prefer leather holsters. Relatively high because I prefer owb. It seems that after all the years I can kind of pick by look what I will like. As long as the loops are stiff and it holds tight to the body, so a thick leather is preferred. The times I have been most disappointed are with thin floppy holster.

I do however really like a blade tech legend holster for my Browning 1911, it's very minimal, comfortable, and secure.

Looks like a winner? I'm still on the hunt.
I wear one of those all summer with my Browning 1911

Still 1 question hasn't been answered! Why do you like the choice you made?
I have 2 OWB holsters I really like. The Muddy River Tactical and the Clinger No Print Wonder. Both hold the gun tight to the body and are extremely comfortable. I like the Comp Tac International as well, but really only for the range. It's fully adjustable, but it is not tight in to the body. It's also very rigid plastic, not Kydex.
