Holsters: Past and Present

Of course another great article but I can’t help but say this must be (Holster) week.
I currently have an IWB Appendix carry holster on order to once again tryout that method of CC I’ve also dug out my shoulder rig to also see how that might help in traveling “driving my truck” in regards to my comfort level.
 
I find the shoulder holster to be the best in comfort when sitting for long periods like sitting in a tree stand or ground blind or driving.
 
If I weren't so comfortable with my XDs in the IWB at 3:00, I'd get a magnet holder and put it on my dash. Unholster when entering the car, stick the gun on the magnet, and drive; re-holster on arrival.

Fixin' to order one of those holsters that have a velcro backing and stick it inside my truck console. Deciding between Alien Gear (5-6 wk delivery time), or Crossbreed (2-3 wk from date of order). I have Alien Gear stuff, but don't want to deal with the wait time.

Every high end holster manufacturer has long lead times due to the uptick in gun sales. My IWB is coming from my friend at Tucker Gunleather. 9 weeks.

Yep, I understand their delay with only making the holsters as they get the orders, so they don't have a lot of backstock of unused/unsold material, plus the increase in sales. I'm just impatient. :)

Funny, I'm currently shopping for another holster.
