Holsters

Vedder light draw if you want kydex. Here's a picture of mine for the XDM. Love it.

Mitch Rosen Express line for leather. There is no finer quality. The photo is the 5JR model for my Sig P239. When I got that with matching belt and dual mag pouch, I wept for all the years I did not have it. Such a waste trying anything else.

1791 makes great holsters also I forgot about them. I have two custom holsters made by Tucker GL in fact I met the owner when I lived in Texas, they make beautiful leather holsters but unfortunately both of mine refuse to break in enough to use and achieve a clean smooth draw.
Keystone , have you looked into using something like this for your holsters ---> https://www.opticsagent.com/Galco-D...MIp7-vgdqR9wIVRJyzCh14mgnDEAYYAyABEgJ3wPD_BwE

It helped one of my holsters.

I’ll talk with Rob before I try that but thanks for the tip, I will say I had both these holsters made with smooth leather also on the inside to protect the guns finish and can’t help but wonder if that made them stiffer. I was close to taking a Dremel to them and grind away some leather but decided against it and threw them in my holster box.
The bottom line is I’d love to be able to use them. I had a naval medallion added to the black one in honor of my dad.
In a previous millennium when I was a patrol officer carrying revolvers the first thing we did when we got a new holster was spray silicone in the holster. We had a case of that stuff in our supply room. As far as I could tell it did not harm the leather and sped up the break-in process. I have done the same with three of Tucker's HF1 holsters to no visible harmful effect. Good luck with it, Rob Longnecker is a good man to deal with.

I agree with you about Rob, I called TGL late morning and Rob called me back mid afternoon, he offered to have me send it in but offered a couple hints for me to try before I do.
