I’ll quote another member this week for subject matter on conversation in this forum:
“SOMEONE SPIKED THE EGG NOG”
“SOMEONE SPIKED THE EGG NOG”
I saw Sherman Hemsley on some talk show (not one of the big ones--I can't even remember which one) once and he left a strong impression on me. He couldn't have been more unlike "George Jefferson." He was very quiet and soft-spoken; I'm tempted to say he was in the neighborhood of "shy" or "bashful." He was very polite and seemed embarrassed to be there, or to be considered a "star." And he did a "robot" dance, which was kind of a craze of the time (late '70s? Early '80s? I really can't recall too many details). It seemed remarkable to me that such a man could play the brash George Jefferson. He must have been a REALLY good actor.George Jefferson!!! One of the best tv characters.
Not so much the eggnog but the pumpkin spice...I just cannot abide eggnog,it's right up there with pumpkin spice.
I'll add straight buttermilk to my yuk list.I just cannot abide eggnog,it's right up there with pumpkin spice.
