That’s true and a good point. Taking a center mass hit, shouldn’t matter. I do the same as you zero at 25yds. I do the same with my .22 pistol and I also carry that pistol down around the lake, for snakes and my youngins. That 3/4” will make a difference on a snake head at 5yrds, so you bring up a valid point.Sight offset is something a lot of people forget about.
My primary HD “long arm” is zeroed at 25yds...at 10 feet, I’m about 3/4” low.
