How do I mount a scope to an M1A?

If you go with a SA Gen 4 mount.

In this article the SA Gen 4 and UTG mounts should not even be on the list, whereas the Sadlak Steel & Titanium (same design) should be plus the ARMS #18.

Its not too hard if you have a file, punch, and rubber mallet. Skip the drinks, get the rifle. I have that exact rifle and it's a blast.
 
I have the M1A loaded precision in 6.5 Creedmoor that I bought recently and am working toward scoping it. The steel Sadlak and SA mounts have been out of stock everywhere I have looked over the past couple of months, hoping they free up soon.
 
I use the LSP from m14ebr.us

I mostly use Blackfeather RS chassis, and it works with all standard wood & synthetic stocks.

Have another drink and jump in bro. I love my M1A. I bought a Tanker for the shorter BBL but I love em all. When I was in the Homicide unit at my dept. I was lucky enough to carry a confiscated REAL M14 complete w/the rock and roll switch. Do it man!!!
