How much have you done to your revolver?

I have a jframe smith that I change the springs on it make my gun 90% more shootable . Trigger is so nice now

I changed the springs on my model 36 . I installed a Pachmayr diamond grip on the model 36 and on my 642 performance center .

I also put some day glow orange fingernail polish on the front sight of the nickle 36 but am thinking about trying green to see if my old eyes see it better.

I haven't messed with any of my revolvers, especially myGen1 Anaconda & Python due to their collectors value, as well as my Smiths.
I can understand that Talyn the only one I did mess with is my jframe I have several other smith I will not touch because of collectors value but I shoot and use my jframe a lot

On my 442 Pro I swapped in the Wilson Combat spring kit, which I'd highly recommend. G10 stocks from Hogue. And a little green fluorescent paint on the front sight.

On my Kimber K6S DASA, the only think I've done to it was to swap in a XS tritium front sight, which aside from the obvious benefit, also helped with POA.

Other than that, about the only thing I've done to my other revolvers is different stocks - esp. for my Magnums that I carry in the backcountry, I use Hogue Tamers.

I have had primarily S&W over the years (had a bad experience with Colt DA revolvers and light primer strikes so I stay away from them since)

I have put grips on them but other than that my S&Ws I just shoot the snot out of. I did have an issue with a L frame like a couple chambers were binding but a shout out to my buddy Bryan Eastridge from Off Duty on Duty Pod cast.

I have shot that L frame since 1990 and not sure how many thousands of rounds I have through it. Was my first quality duty gun (after I sent that Colt away)

Tritium front sight installed on our two LCR's, as they are essentially carry weapons. The remaining few are stock, and shall be kept as such. That's all, folks!
Apologies, please. Hogue Tamer grip for both the above. Sorry; I must have been thinking of TWO things at once, and the old brain box overloaded. . .

On gun I ever had work done to was an original Ruger Redhawk in stainless with the 7 1/2” barrel. Had it sent to SSK Industries and had trigger job, re-cut the forcing cone, and then sent it off to Larry Kelly of Mag-na-port and had it ported.

I'm a tinkerer, what can I say?

For the most part, my revolvers are pretty much stock. I have changed grips, springs and polished internals as needed/wanted. But I also have a habit of buying problem/broken guns and tinkering with them. I have, on occasion, replaced barrels, cylinders and internal parts.

This one is my pride and joy. A .45 Colt snubbie! 😁

This one started out as a bare nekkid S&W Model 28-2 frame. The barrel was a 6.5" .45acp from a Model 25-2. I had to cut both ends to get it to fit. The cylinder is .45 Colt from a Model 25-5. The internals came from various models and sources. The rear sight is C&S's Extreme Duty model.
All told, it took about 2 years to find all the parts and put this thing together.
I like it! (y)

Larry Kelly was a great guy, his company has done a lot of work for me over the years. Plus they always have a couple nice dogs to pet while you are there.
