Wife said, "Don't even think about it!" Too late dear! Already have.....
Maybe it was the vision of hundreds or maybe thousands of handguns mounted to
the walls and suspended from the ceiling that turned her off. Would have offered
a new pair of shoes per gun purchase.... but some of those shoes out price a gun.
So I will stay with the status quo.

When we replace our lake cabin with our planned retirement home in a few years, there will be a vault/safe room in the plans.

I spent the majority of my adult life as a contractor and a journeyman carpenter. I rebuilt my house from the floor joists up in 2017 after a flood left it 90% damaged. I incorporated several clever security "additions" when I remodeled. I assure you a walk in gun vault cannot be built "Cheaply".
