I’m a fairly new shooter so do forgive my ignorance on certain information regarding gunsmithing,..
I’ve had speed dights installed on my Hellcat and have determined thru test firing the weapon benched, that they’re shooting way too low using the recommended hold.
I’ve contacted the company and received a set of higher rear sights and I am now looking to try and install them myself.
What I can’t seem to find anywhere is,.. is there a set direction I NEED to drift the sights in the dovetail notch when removing or installing.
What Im asking is should I remove them pushing Left to Right and vise versa for installation? (facing the rear of the slide of course.)
Or doesn’t it matter which side of the slide I start to push the sights in from?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA!
