How to Correct Pistol Malfunctions: 5 Tips

Alright, I'm gonna utterly disagree with their misfire recommendations, and some safety nazis here might get their thongs twisted...they can go spirally inclined plane themselves.

If you get "click" instead of a "bang"...eject that around RIGHT NOW.

Do not count to 10, 20, 30.

Work that slide and get your freakin' weapon back in the freakin' fight.

Why?

Because: what you do in practice is what you will do on the street.

You will not rise to the occasion.

If you get misfire during "the real deal", you WILL stand there, mentally counting to one million (or whatever) because that's what you've trained to do, if that's what you do in practice...and then you'll die.

The odds of a hangfire using modern ammunition is practically nil...I have seen precisely ONE, using ammunition that was 80+ years old (.303 Enfield from the 1920's(?) that actually used sticks of cordite, not modern powder)...never with modern rounds.

Just. Don't. Do. It.
